March and April Birthstones!

This gorgeous Y necklace is made with 3 natural aquamarine stones and a beautiful rock crystal drop pendant.  Handwrapped with sterling silver and strung on a sterling silver fine cable chain, this necklace measures approximately 17" with a 1-3/4" drop.  Finished with silver plated lobster claw and hand-hammered flat silver oval disk.

Aquamarine is the birtstone for March, and Diamond is the birthstone for April.  Since we are not all millionaires, Rock Crystal, a clear form of Quartz, is often used as a substitute for Diamond.

A versatile necklace that is sure to get noticed! This lariat is made with over 46 inches of silver plated cable and 7 natural rainbow fluorite pebbles (3 on one end and 4 on the other), in shades of purple, green, and translucent. Tie it around your neck for a long necklace, or double it up and pull the stones thru for a shorter necklace, or wrap it several times around for a choker with dangling gems. The only limit is your imagination!

Photo shows lariat doubled with the stones pulled thru, and then one set is pulled up and over the loop to keep it in place. Hand wrapped and slightly oxidized to really show off the beautiful colors and stripes of the fluorite.

Just the gift for a February birthday girl - seven natural amethyst nuggets and two pink quartz polished rocks adorn this gorgeous non-tarnish silver necklace. All links have been hand-made, and six amethysts are hand-coiled and link together to form a Y that dangles a hand-wrapped pink quartz and amethyst. This beautiful necklace is finished off with a hand-formed toggle clasp and another pink quartz stone.

An exact duplicate of the necklace I made for my mother last Mother's Day, I loved it so much I had to make another!  Carefully wrapped with silver tone copper wire, flat oval pale green and light blue bicones are paired with clear larger bicones for a beautifully simple necklace.

This beautiful necklace is just dazzling with its Swarovski crystals that are purple and clear with a splash of iridescence. Marcasite-like findings with crystal accents really give this set a vintage feel!

The three-tiered necklace features 22 Swarovski crystals and antique silver toned spacers between marcasite-style findings accented with crystals. The inside layer of necklace measures approximately 17.5" and the outside layer measures approximately 19.5". The necklace is finished off with silver plated cable chain and lobster claw clasp.

Made with Bloodstone and gun metal-colored copper wire, this sturdy yet lightweight piece is a great basic necklace to compliment any wardrobe!

Bloodstone is actually a green jasper that is speckled with bright red spots of iron oxide. This attractive chalcedony quartz is also known as heliotrope because in ancient times polished stones were described as reflecting the sun: perhaps the appearance of the gem reminded the ancients of the red setting sun, mirrored in the ocean.

Glass pearls and hand-coiled wire are a perfect match for an eye-catching necklace that is sure to get noticed. Soft pink, white, dark grey, light grey and the palest green glass pearls are combined with funky spirals to create a lovely necklace that is lightweight, but very sturdy. It is finished off with a silver-tone toggle clasp and measures approximately 21".

Made with glass beads in shades of turquoise and iridescent pale blue seed beads that are hand wrapped on a silver-plated figaro chain. This necklace is delicate-looking and lightweight, yet sturdy and durable.

Necklace measures approximately 19" and is secured with a silver-tone barrel clasp.

This gorgeous creation was made by my sister-in-law, Amanda, and when I saw it, I was green with envy that I didn't make it! Using the hand-coil design that are featured in many of my pieces, she added some large silver rings and even larger silver-tone open stars, and then brought the whole piece to life with some beautiful green glass wire-wrapped beads. Just beautiful!

This beautiful three strand necklace is a knockout on any occasion! Nine delicate rainbow fluorite pebbles in varying shades of green and purple adorn the simple silver plated cable. This is one of my favorite pieces to wear, so much that I had to make a second one to share with you!

I tried to get photos in different light to give you a good idea of the range of color, but its hard to capture the true beauty of these stones in pictures. Dark purple, medium green, a little blue, and some very pale greens and purples ensure that it will match, no matter what you are wearing.
